Divine Mercy Novena
As Given to St. Faustina
Traditionally begun on Good Friday, ending on Divine Mercy Sunday — or prayed any nine days.
Day 1 of 9
All mankind, especially sinners
Opening Prayer
Jesus, I trust in you. Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
Meditation
'Today bring to Me all mankind, especially all sinners, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.' The novena begins with everyone — no one is outside the first day's prayer.
Today's Prayer
Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us, receive all mankind into the abode of your Most Compassionate Heart. Amen.
Pause here and name your intention in your own words.
