Opening Prayer
Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Intercede with God for me, that He bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Amen.
Meditation
Jude was the apostle who asked at the Last Supper, 'Lord, why will you reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?' He wanted to understand. He began, as we do, with questions.
Today's Prayer
St. Jude, apostle of the impossible, teach me to bring my questions to God rather than carry them alone. Obtain for me the grace to trust when I cannot see. Amen.
